On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, an educational festival was held in Astara with the organization of the Ministry of Science and Education, Astara District Executive Power, Lankaran-Astara Regional Education Department, Lankaran Regional Culture Department, and Lankaran State Vocational Education Center. The festival was attended by the Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev,  the head of the Astara District Executive Power, Gazanfar Aghayev, MPs, writers, publishing heads and the district community. The Academy of the State Customs Committee as well as other higher education institutions participated at the festival.

The purpose of the festival is to create a platform for cooperation among interested parties in the region to promote the development of education across the country.

At the festival, the stand about the Academy of the State Customs Committee aroused the interest of the event participants. Informational materials reflecting the activities of the Academy in educational, scientific and socio-cultural fields were displayed at the stand. ASCCA students briefed the festival participants about their higher educational institution.
